What a wonderful culinary gem! I visited King of Almandi and had a fantastic time and a delicious meal! The service staff were very kind and accommodating. The gentleman, Muhammad, sat me by the heater on this cloudy, cold winter day and promptly brought me some warm lamb soup. The soup was seasoned well and so tasty. Next, I ordered my lamb meal and mango drink. All perfect. I can definitely attest that they exceeded my expectations and blessed me with one of the tastiest meals I have had in quite a while. Thank you so much, I will be back!

I picked up food for 4 people from this restaurant yesterday on my way (drive from Indiana): excellent quality food. Great value for price. We got 3 chicken shawarmas, 1 mixed Appetizer platter (THE BEST! Pleasure to taste buds!), and Chicken haneeth (super tasty soft chicken with lots of rice, some potatoes and carrot on a side). I was also fasting and it was my Iftar while driving and they even gave me two portions of soup and bread for free! I highly recommend! The place inside is not super elegant, simple, but the food is well worth driving for 3 hours

Tonight started out nit with King of Almandi as a dinner option. We are in the Columbus area and knew Yemeni cuisine was what we were getting. My husband mentioned this location, I said no, I wanted our routine restaurant in the area. We drive to our familiar spot and after entering decided to leave and come here. I have to say that I was extremely surprised. The welcoming staff and friendly interactions from the beginning were a relief. Ordered our choices and the speed in which our food was served was top notch. They were moderately busy and still quick. Now for the food... amazing! Portion size was great, the lamb was perfect. We ordered specialty drinks, the portion sizes were the best we've ever gotten at any Yemeni restaurant in any state we've been to. The lemon with mint hit with lemon at first taste and followed with the aftertaste of mint which it should, not sweet and that is perfection. Our daughter loves all of her Arabic culture and the brothers gave her the lead and grace, this means more to us than all of the other amazing aspects of our visit. King of Almandi will from now on be our regular spot in Columbus.

Good Mediterranean place visited recently in west side of Columbus. Food options were slightly expensive, but quantity of food and taste were very good. Friendly people helped with ordering food and throughout our dining with what we needed. Place was busy when we visited and took more time for food to arrive. However we liked the food and would recommend this location to your list to try out dining or to go. Ambience was not great for family dining, some tables were clean when we visited.

Best food on the Westside of Columbus. Soup served prior to dinner is amazing. Ask for the hot condiment for in the soup and limes. Be sure to drink a mini cup of tea too. Pictured is an appetizer.

My husband and I went there tonight. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They brought two bowls of lamb soup before we even ordered our food. I had ordered the Chicken Mandi last time via delivery and loved it. This time we ordered Chicken Haneeth and some mango juice. They also gave us very yummy Arabic salad. The rice and Chicken tested awesome. Chicken was moist and flavorful. I wish they can open one restaurant in California where we’re visiting from. I would highly recommend this place to everyone, especially someone who is looking for good Halal food, to try their fresh food.
